Poll attendance down

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many people requested absentee ballots, leaving voting poll attendance down from the regular morning rush at the Primary Election June 2. This gentleman was the eighth person to receive his ballot at the NSC Community Center voting location. On the other side of the room, precinct workers had six people. By 8:30 a.m. 14 people had appeared to vote. As of Friday, May 29 at 4:30 p.m., 2,116 absentee ballots had been sent out county-wide with 1,413 returned.
