Construction continues

Construction continues to boom in North Sioux City. Nelson Industrial Construction and Engineering is working on this building between I-29 and Military Road.

Nelson Industrial Construction and Engineering is once again helping a North Sioux City company expand. Nelson is building a new 100,000 square foot building between I-29 and Military Road. It will include a freezer and warehouse space for Red’s All Natural that is located in another Nelson building just south of the new building. Production will continue at that location and expand into the space now used by Hantover. Hantover will move into the new building, which still has leaseable space. Red’s, which came to North Sioux City in 2017, has been growing and had been using freezer and warehouse space outside of Sioux City.

Royal Canin uses part of the existing 185,000 square foot facility along with Red’s.

Nelson purchased what was called the main office on the Gateway site from Keating Resources. That has been converted to office warehouse. Nelson also developed the building that houses RTI and Frito-Lay. That building has been sold.
