In Union County, Donald J. Trump (Republican) won 67 percent of the votes with 5,944 over Jo Jorgensen (Libertarian) 186 votes (two percent) and Joseph R. Biden (Democrat) 31 percent with 2,725 votes. For United States Senator, Mike Rounds (Republican) won 73 percent of the votes with 6,364 over Dan Ahlers (Democrat) 27 percent with 2,407 votes. For United States Representative, Dusty Johnson (Republican) won with 84 percent, 6,862 votes over Randy Luallin (Libertarian) at 16 percent, 1,345 votes. Gary Hanson (Republican) won the public utilities commissioner position with a 72 percent, 6,013 votes over Devin Saxon (Libertarian) with 5 percent, 375 votes and Remi W. Bald Eagle (Democrat) at 23 percent, 1,941 votes. Unopposed Jim Bolin (Republican) won the race for State Senator in District 16. Also running unopposed were David L. Anderson and Kevin D. Jensen, both Republicans, for State Representative in District 16.
