Residents and representatives of Big Sioux Township were present for the public rezoning hearing held by the Union County Zoning Board Sept. 3. The hearing was requested by Connelly Development to change the zoning of their land west of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, in Dakota Dunes, from commercial to residential.
Bart Connelly made a short presentation, showing the build out of Dakota Dunes and where lots were still available. However, the mid-price range homes, such as the Meadows area, are completely sold. Connelly stated that those were the price-range homes they would be building if they were granted their rezoning request.
