Going from prey to predator – Pheasant to Panther – Bill Leberman, the newest addition to the Dakota Valley Administration, joins the district from his previous position in Parker, SD. Leberman was hired as the Upper Elementary/Middle School Principal.
Leberman graduated from Warner High School and furthered his education at Northern State University in Aberdeen. He later gained his Master’s degree from the University of Sioux Falls. Leberman and his wife, Marci, have been married for 28 years and have three children – Landon, Grace and Josie. In his free time, he enjoys sports, especially golf, travelling and spending time with friends and family.
He went into education because of his love for working with children.
Before coming to Dakota Valley, he taught four years in Bowdle, SD and moved to Parker in 1998. He was the fifth and sixth grade teacher for eight years, the K-12 PE/Health teacher for eight years and spent the last six years as the 7-12 Principal and Activities Director.
