Dakota Valley Panthers win three straight sets

All of the varsity Panther volleyball players would see time on the court versus the Beresford Watchdogs on Tuesday, Sept. 5. It was a home contest that had Dakota Valley winning 3 straight sets to take the match.

Panther Cheer competes in first competition

The Panther competitive cheer team held their own in Yankton on Thursday, Sept. 7 as they faced many larger Class AA schools. Eleven schools would be competing at the cheer event. In addition to Dakota Valley, there was also: Sioux Falls (SF) Jefferson, O’Gormon, SF Washington, SF Roosevelt, SF Lincoln, Yankton, Bon Homme, Mitchell, Brookings and Harrisburg.

An incredible day was had by the Panther dance team on Thursday, Sept. 7 as they brought home many accolades from their competition at Yankton.

Slater, Lukken medal in Vermillion varsity meet

Thursday, Sept. 7 had the Panther boys golf roster on The Bluffs Golf Course in Vermillion for a varsity meet. A competitive field was on-hand and every stroke mattered as the top 4 teams were close in overall strokes.

Dakota Valley Panthers fight against the Chargers

It would be a full crowd in the stands at Dakota Valley on Friday, Sept. 8 for the varsity football game against Sioux Falls Christian. The Panthers played strong, but would suffer their 1st loss of the season in a close contest.
