Dakota Valley golfers rolling in the wins

It was conference tournament week for boys golf on September 23 and September 24 and Dakota Valley did not disappoint. The varsity roster kept their fantastic season going to be named 2024 DAK XII Champions. The junior varsity followed suit and brought home 1st place honors as well.

Husky golfers gain more experience compete well

The Huskies played some great varsity golf, on Monday, September 23, at the DAK XII Conference golf meet. They hit the links of Central Valley Golf Course in Hartford and brought home accolades.

EPJ runners gaining momentum at midpoint of season

September went out like a flash for the Huskies cross country team who had 2 meets in 4 days on September 23, 2024 and on September 26, 2024. Alcester-Hudson hosted 1st and this meant that the roster was on the road. The 2nd meet of the week was Elk Point-Jefferson’s turn to host for the Union County meet at The Pointe Golf Course.

Panther boys soccer continue to work hard, play well

A t o ugh mat ch awaited the Panther boys soccer team, in Vermillion, on Thursday, September 26, 2024. The Tanagers are seeded in the top spot of Class A for South Dakota, yet Dakota Valley gave them a great contest.

EPJ Huskies battle defending state champs SFC Chargers

The Husky volleyball squad went up against defending state champions Sioux Falls Christian, at home, on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 in a tough contest. The SFC Chargers swept Elk Point-Jefferson in 3 sets.

Dakota Valley Panthers make comeback, beat Tri-Valley

It was a slow start for the Panther football team on Friday, September 20, at home, as they trailed most of the game. However, in epic comeback fashion Dakota Valley had a strong 4th quarter to take the lead and garner a victory against Tri-Valley (TV) by a score of 21-14.

DV girls soccer get agressive against top ranked Groton

The Panther girls soccer team looked aggressive versus top ranked Groton on Tuesday, September 17. However, a late goal by the Tigers handed Dakota Valley a loss on the road by a score of 0-1.

Panther volleyball goes up against strong opponents

Dakota Valley took their undefeated varsity volleyball record on the road to Harrisburg on Tuesday, September 17. The Panthers knew they would see tough competition as the Tigers play in the larger Class AA for South Dakota and have a solid roster.

A long road trip on Tuesday, September 17 took the Panther boys soccer team to Groton. It would be a competitive contest. And despite falling 2-5 to the Tigers, Dakota Valley did a lot of great things on the field.

DV runners compete in rough conditions again

The Panthers ran at Yankton Trails, in Sioux Falls, on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. It was hot and windy for the cross country meet that was hosted by Sioux Falls Christian. Despite the rough conditions, many Panthers managed to bring home top individual finishes.
