Justin Jackson loves the hospitality industry – the people, hearing new stories, seeing new faces every day. What he didn’t like was managing eight restaurants and casinos scattered across Sioux Falls. He and his wife were already living in Elk Point for her job in Sioux City, so when The Pointe Golf & Event Center decided to hire a full-time manager, Jackson was in the right place to make the move.
He is in charge of the community rooms and the Nifty Nine Lounge all year round. In the summer, he handles the business side of the golf course. He took over for Deb McCreary, who ran the club on top of her full-time job. Dave Nelson is the course superintendent.
