More than 10,500 students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the spring semester 2021 Dean’s List. Students named to the list must have earned a GPA of at least 3.50 on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded coursework.

Iowa State University recognized 4,798 spring graduates May 7 and 8. Iowa State awarded 4,176 undergraduate degrees, 609 graduate degrees and 143 veterinary medicine degrees. Students had the opportunity to attend in-person ceremonies and celebrations at Hilton Coliseum and Jack Trice Stadium, which were livestreamed for those who preferred a virtual option.

Dakota State University
A total of 504 full-time and 193 part-time students qualified for the President’s Academic Honors list for the 2021 spring semester.
The following full-time students achieved a grade point average of 3.5 to 4.0 to qualify for the honors list: Schuyler Walchek of Jefferson and Dominick Tureaud of North Sioux City.
The following part-time students achieved a grade point average of 3.5 to 4.0 to qualify for the honors list: Grace Bauer of McCook Lake.
South Dakota School of Mines and Technology
South Dakota Mines has named 560 students to the Spring 2021 Dean’s List.
In order to merit a spot on the list, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for the semester. Full-time students must have earned a minimum of 12 credit hours for the term, while part-time students must have earned between three and 11 credit hours that term.
Miles Byington of Dakota Dunes was named to the list.
Mary Winckler of Dakota Dunes was named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester, 2021. In order to be named to the list, a student must maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher for the semester.
