Dunes residents could see sewer increases in 2023

With Sioux City’s newest wastewater agreement, Dunes residents could be seeing more money added to their sewer bills. The new contract was presented at the Dakota Dunes Community Improvement District Board of Supervisors meeting, Sept. 19.

Dakota Dunes holds Fall Festival

The Dakota Dunes Community Association (DDCA) held their 8th annual Fall Festival Sunday, Oct. 2 in the afternoon from 3 to 6 p.m. The weather cooperated and it was a gorgeous fall day as residents of Dakota Dunes came to the tennis courts of the country club for entertainment, food and fun.

Langle takes 9th place

Elk Point-Jefferson’s Carter Langle had a good game of golf at the DAK-12 Conference at The Bluffs Golf Course in Vermillion Sept. 19. Langle finished in 9th place with a round score of 79, 7 over par of the course. He was 1 of 5 golfers to shoot this score.

It was a battle of the dogs on the Huskies home court Sept. 20. The Huskies prevailed winning their homecoming game against the Beresford Watchdogs – 25-22; 25-23; 25-12.
