Dakota Valley Panther teams place at Alcester Meet

Dominance was a common theme across the board for the Panther cross country team on Monday, Sept. 18 at the Alcester Golf Club. The Dakota Valley boys claimed 1st place team honors for varsity and junior varsity, while the Panther girls were team runner-ups in each race.

DV boy golfers crowned DAK-12 conference champs

The Panther boys golf team saw success on Monday, Sept. 18 and Tuesday, Sept. 19 when both the varsity and junior varsity rosters were crowned DAK-12 Conference Champions. The varsity squad took the title at Bakker Crossing Golf Course in Harrisburg, while the JV claimed dominance at the Hiawatha Country Club in Canton.

Boys Soccer hosts Panther Senior Night

Strong opponents faced the Panther boys soccer team on Thursday, Sept. 21 and Saturday, Sept. 23. It would be a home match and senior night versus the Vermillion Tanagers on the 21st. Then it was a road trip to James Valley Christian School in Huron, SD on the 23rd.

Dakota Valley Panthers defeat Madison Bulldogs

An earlier game time in Madison on Sept. 22 did little to slow down the Panther football team as they defeated the Bulldogs in an away contest. There would be no scores in the 1st half, but both teams pushed each other.

Cheer ranks amongst Class A schools

There were 16 competition cheer squads in attendance at the Harrisburg, SD competition on Saturday, Sept. 23. Dakota Valley was one of seven Class A schools competing. Nine of the other opponents were in Class AA.
