Absentee ballots for South Dakota’s June 2 primary election will not be available on the first day of the absentee voting period, the Union County Auditor’s Office announced this week.
Dakota Valley sets school record at SC Relays

The first ever South Dakota National Civics Bee regional competition was held in downtown Sioux City, on April 7, 2026, with multiple Panthers competing. Hits, walks and home runs were the theme for Dakota Valley’s softball home opener versus the #1 ranked Tri-Valley Mustangs on Monday, April 6, 2026. The Panthers were seeded #4 as they took the field to battle Tri-Valley (TV). It was the 2nd contest of the season for Dakota Valley (DV) and TV was on their 4th game for spring 2026.
