A memorial to World War II veterans has been finished in time for Veterans Day. The memorial is part of the Freedom Wall at Elk Point-Jefferson High School.

Noah Larson worked with VFW Post 915 Commander Matthew Dosdall for the past two years to complete the memorial as Larson’s Eagle Scout project. It honors military men and women from Elk Point and Jefferson who served in World War II. Post 915 and its Auxiliary sponsored and funded the project, at a cost of nearly $2,000.
