People… customers… friends.

No matter how she refers to them, Lynn Kanne is missing them after her semi-retirement in November.

She intended to continue working until she turned 65, but her health had different ideas. She was diagnosed with Stage IV endrometrial cancer in 2011, but had controlled it with various therapies for years. Last summer, the cancer took over again and she’s been undergoing some stiff treatment. The cancer had spread to her back, but with a new pain therapy, she’s able to lay down, catch up on her sleep and make some progress.

Kanne said it’s been hard for some of her clients to accept.
